Epps Aviation Attains Cessna Authorized Independent NDI Facility Certification

This certification allows Epps Aviation access to all of the equipment and materials needed to perform nondestructive testing on all models of Cessna Citation aircraft. The authorized tests include, but are not limited to, Phase 49 and Phase 50 inspections.

Atlanta (October 11) – Epps Aviation, located at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in Atlanta, recently attained their Cessna Authorized Independent NDI Facility Certification. This Authorization was granted after a review and on-site audit by Cessna representatives.

This certification allows Epps Aviation access to all of the equipment and materials needed to perform nondestructive testing on all models of Cessna Citation aircraft. The authorized tests include, but are not limited to, Phase 49 and Phase 50 inspections. Epps has been approved to perform the following NDT methods on Citation aircraft: Ultrasonic, Radiography, Eddy Current, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Bond Testing.

The Authorized Independent NDI Facility Certification from Cessna further expands an already impressive NDT Program for Epps, and allows them to broaden services offered to their customers. There are only 4 such authorized facilities in the state of Georgia and 2 in the Atlanta metro area. Epps is the only certified facility in the Atlanta area to be conveniently located at an airport.
