DECATUR, TX, NOVEMBER 1, 2007: Throughout the year, United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS) has provided its services to several operators to upgrade and refurbish aircraft.

Earlier in 2007 URS worked with Air Methods and installed Super Night Scanners on two of its Bell 430’s. Most recently United Rotorcraft has repainted and installed a SkyConnect system with SOP dialer in an EC135 for Omniflight for their WakeMed program in Raleigh, NC.

On Oct. 23, 2007 URS delivered a Bell 206 to Republic Helicopters out of Santa Fe, TX. This aircraft was in for sand and repaint, new interior coverings and new windscreens. The 206 arrived at the URS facility in Decatur, TX on Sept. 19, 2007.

“We at URS are happy to provide upgrade services to these operators,” says David Brigham, President, “we know this type of work can bog down an operator’s maintenance facility and therefore take longer to complete the work than necessary. But that’s why we’re here – to get these aircraft upgraded and back in the air to meet the operators’ mission requirements.”

United Rotorcraft Solutions, FAA Repair Station UX9R241Y, provides aircraft completions and refurbishment services, systems integration, maintenance, component overhaul, customized interior installations and unsurpassed exterior finishing on most model helicopters and some fixed wing aircraft.
