Euravia Expands MRO Facility
UK-based MRO company to expand main factory in Kelbrook, Lancashire, England to accomodate business growth.
Euravia announces that it is doubling the size of its main engine facility at Kelbrook, Lancashire, England. Facility expansion is expected to be completed at the end of the first quarter of 2008. Euravia will celebrate its 20th anniversary next April.
The company says it will soon complete its most successful year to date on the PT6A, with both record PT6A engine overhaul throughputs and record outright PT6A engine sales. All told, Euravia has doubled its PT6A business in the last 12 months.
Dennis Mendoros, Managing Director says, "We have made particularly significant steps in expanding our PT6A service reach into the Far East and South America and the signs are very positive that this global expansion will continue in 2008. I believe that our success is based on the high quality of our services at every level in our company and our ability to tailor our services for each customer. At Euravia, we recognise that "one size does not fit all" and we listen to our customers to ensure that we understand their particular needs."
Euravia plans to have an inauguration ceremony in April 2008 that will be open to all current and potential PT6A customers. The actual date will be announced as soon as the company has a firm completion date.
