WICHITA, KS -– Hawker Beechcraft Corporation announces that the Federal Aviation Administration certificated the new Beechcraft King Air C90GTi, the latest evolution of the twin-turbine Beechcraft King Air 90 series aircraft. Introduced at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in May 2007, the upgraded Beechcraft King Air C90GTi features an advanced, fully-integrated, Collins Pro Line 21TM avionics suite, the same system found in the King Air B200GT, King Air 350, Premier 1A, Hawker 750 and Hawker 900XP. The King Air C90GTi will replace the current King Air C90GT.
Hawker Beechcraft delivered 10 King Air C90GTi aircraft in December 2007 and certification has been achieved for Brazil. Pursuits of other international certifications are to follow in Europe, Mexico, Canada, Venezuela and Guatemala.

Featuring a cabin 50 percent larger than most VLJs, the King Air C90GTi seats up to seven passengers in its famed squared-oval design, allowing greater passenger comfort. It also includes an in-flight-accessible, heated and pressurized baggage storage area, plus a private aft lavatory that is standard on every King Air C90GTi.
The Beechcraft King Air C90GTi is at home almost anywhere. It has the ability to operate from remote, unimproved fields as easily as it flows into congested, terminal airspace, providing operators with the versatility to utilize airports inaccessible to most jets. The King Air C90GTi is fuel-efficient, which contributes to its low operating costs while offering increased performance and greater system redundancy. It also provides an insurance industry accepted turbine transition for pilots migrating from smaller single or twin-engine piston aircraft.
The King Air C90GTi’s panel is built around the needs of the single-pilot operator. The Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 system includes three eight-by-10 inch large-format liquid crystal displays, as well as digital radio and audio systems. It features advanced capabilities not found in other, entry-level turbine avionics systems to include a multi-sensor flight management system that utilizes several aircraft position inputs, solid state weather radar and Collins patented Chart Link TM automated chart selection system, to greatly reduce pilot workload. Other features include TAWS+, TCAS-I, a high speed USB database loader and optional Collins HF radio. Pro Line 21’s total system integration allows electronic monitoring and analysis of all on-board systems, which enhances mission safety and aircraft reliability. It delivers situational awareness by making retrieval and analysis of flight-critical information as intuitive as possible. Advanced digital capabilities in collecting, processing and displaying communication, navigation and surveillance (CNS) data keep pilots wired into a network of ever-changing information.
The Rockwell Collins avionics suite also incorporates an Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS), offering pilots a wide range of tools to enhance safety and situational awareness. Standard features include map overlays (airways, airspace, geopolitical) and Electronic Jeppessen charts. In addition to these standard features, IFIS options include XM Graphical Weather (US only) or Universal Datalink (world-wide service).
