HOUSTON, Texas – February 24, 2008 — StandardAero announced the award of an exclusive contract to provide Rolls-Royce Model 250 engine repair and overhaul services for emergency medical service provider Air Methods. The contract is valued at $15 to $20 million and will run for five years, with the possibility of an extension.

Air Methods Corporation is the largest provider of air medical emergency transport services and systems throughout the United States. It currently supports and operates 74 Rolls-Royce Model 250 engines, and operates a fleet of more than 340 helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft in 42 states. Air Methods transports more than 100,000 patients annually who require intensive medical care from either the scene of an accident or general care hospitals to highly skilled trauma centers or tertiary care centers.
