SAINT PAUL, Minn., March 4, 2008 – To meet businesses’ growing demands for general aviation travel, Travelers (NYSE: TRV) Aviation unit is introducing a new workers compensation insurance program for corporate flight departments.

Travelers' new aviation workers compensation program will provide top-quality workers compensation coverage for general aviation flight departments, including pilots, ground crew and administrative staff, to help insureds keep rising loss cost trends under control. The program will supplement aircraft hull and liability policy forms for flight departments ranging from a single pilot to large departments.

“The workers compensation climate is changing,” said Gordon Murray, president, Travelers Aviation. “We want to make sure we are working closely with our customers so that their business is properly prepared, educated and equipped with the best tools, technologies and advancements to manage the challenge of rising claims costs.” Workers compensation policyholders also benefit from TravComp®, an advanced and specialized approach to managing workers compensation claims, which offers many benefits, including early assignment of the claim to a local point of contact, a focused strategy for medically appropriate return-to-work and availability of network savings to effectively manage loss costs.

The Travelers TravComp workers compensation claim management process uses technology to seamlessly integrate the claim, medical and billing platform which helps to ensure that payments are issued only for appropriate bills. TravComp also offers the industry’s first injured worker Web site (www.mywcinfo.com), a site for injured employees to obtain information and medical tips and to review their claim payment information online. Customers can further benefit from Travelers’ 24-hour workers compensation claim reporting tools.

“By listening to our customers’ demands, we are able to further enhance our commitment to the aviation industry and better serve our customers,” said Murray. “We continue to expand our capabilities and product offerings to meet their unique needs.”

Travelers’ workers compensation program is available in all states where permitted.

In December 2007, Travelers introduced Flight Plan PreferredSM, its second aviation insurance policy, which is a flexible policy form providing aircraft hull and liability coverage designed for today’s diverse general aviation fleet, including pleasure and business transportation, municipal aircraft accounts and commercial/charter operators. Travelers introduced Flight Plan PremierSM, an integrated hull and liability policy form designed to meet the needs of corporate flight departments, in May 2007 with the launch of its Aviation unit.
