St. Louis Park, MN – March 13, 2008 – Shadin Avionics is pleased to announce that Cari Herman has joined the company as Software Engineering Manager.
Herman will oversee and manage the Software Engineering Group and is tasked with refining software development processes; ensuring development schedules are maintained, enhancing execution/visibility, and bringing new software tools and capabilities to Shadin Avionics.
Herman brings more than 14 years of avionics development experience to Shadin Avionics. Prior to her new position, she worked for Medtronic as a Product Development Manager. Previous to Medtronic, Herman was a Product Line Manager for Goodrich Sensor Systems, and a Systems Test Engineer at Northrop Grumman. In these roles she led numerous developments of advanced avionic systems and has had extensive industry and regulatory experience.
Shadin Avionics’ Director of Engineering, Jim Jamieson stated, “Ms. Herman is expected to become a key leader of the advanced development group responsible for executing new designs that accelerate Shadin Avionics’ strategic goals over the next five years. Herman has a Bachelors of Science degree in Aeronautical Studies from University of North Dakota and holds an FAA A&P license.
