Western Aircraft Receives Fourth FAA Diamond Certificate of Excellence

Western Aircraft has developed a number of initiatives over the years to enhance safety and quality through aggressive training and safety management principles.

Boise, Idaho -Western Aircraft, Inc. – February 2008 – Western Aircraft has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond Certificate of Excellence for the fourth time.

Western Aircraft has developed a number of initiatives over the years to enhance safety and quality through aggressive training and safety management principles. The company continues to expand its “Western University” with formal courses in areas like Wire Termination, Engine Run and Taxi Training (make/model specific), and safe use of equipment (fall protection, forklifts, etc.). In addition to the formal training received from Flight Safety and CAE, this training is a benefit to both the customers and the employees of Western Aircraft. This commitment to education has helped Western Aircraft develop multi-skilled technicians and supervisors, and grow to about 100 strong in the Aircraft Services Department.
