Delta TechOps Inks Contract with Asiana Airlines
Delta TechOps has entered into a five-year agreement for CFM56-3 engine repair and overhaul work with Asiana Airlines, headquartered in Seoul, Korea.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 16, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Delta TechOps has entered into a five-year agreement for CFM56-3 engine repair and overhaul work with Asiana Airlines. Asiana Airlines operates a fleet of 65 aircraft and is headquartered in Seoul, Korea.
"Although this is a new contract with Asiana, our partnership has a history," said Tony Charaf, president of Delta TechOps. "We have been performing engine work for Asiana for several years and this latest contract is clearly a statement that they have been pleased with the quality and customer service they have received from Delta TechOps. The new agreement with Asiana will complement Delta TechOps' growing list of engine capabilities which also include CFM56-7, PW2000, PW4000, DF6-80A/A2, CF6-80C2, and JT8D-219.
