Dallas, TX, May 6, 2008 – In order to meet the growing demand of Cessna Citation, Hawker, Beechjet, King Air, Falcon and Learjet aircraft maintenance and avionics services/installations in the Southwest Region, West Star Aviation, Inc. has expanded its facility at Dallas Love Field.
West Star Aviation has expanded its current 42,000 square feet of hangars, shops and offices located adjacent to runway 31R at the Dallas Love Field Airport (KDAL) by adding a new co-location adjacent to runway 31 L. This new, additional location includes expanded sheet metal, avionics, and interior refurbishment shop capabilities, as well as expanded aircraft maintenance and avionics services capabilities, and equates to an additional 33,000 square feet of usable shop and office space. The expansion brings total square footage of the Dallas Love Field location to approximately 75,000 square feet.
The new facility is sized for the large mid-size business jets but can accommodate the largest business jets on the market including the Dassault Falcon 900, Global Express, Gulfstream 550, Embraer Legacy and the new Cessna 850 Columbus. Currently the new facility is specializing in a mixture of Cessna and Hawker Beech products including Cessna 560 XL, Cessna 441 Conquest, Cessna Sovereign, Hawker 800XP and King Air 350 aircraft. In addition, the facility is conducting major inspections on all aircraft including the Cessna 441, which includes the SID program.
West Star Aviation, Inc. began operations in the new facility March 3, 2008. The Dallas facility currently offers FBO services from its partner Jet Aviation (for Runway 31L). The new location offers FBO services through its new location partner Signature Flight Support (for Runway 31R).
West Star Aviation, Inc. Dallas location operates as an authorized FAA certified repair station 5PAR631Y and is EASA approved, reference 145.6049.
