Geneva, Switzerland…May 19, 2008…BBA Aviation’s Engine Repair and Overhaul company Dallas Airmotive has added two highly experienced field service engineers to its Mobile Response Team covering Europe, Africa and Middle East. They are based at Dallas Airmotive’s Portsmouth, England Regional Turbine Centre (RTC) which is co-located with the company’s H+S Aviation engine repair and overhaul affiliate.

The Portsmouth RTC now employs three full-time engineers dedicated to field service work. The Mobile Response Team is on call 24 hours a day with expertise for on-wing support of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, JT15D and PW500 engines. The Mobile Response Team is supported by an additional five technicians dedicated to in-shop repair services at the Portsmouth facility.

“Our Mobile Response Team engineers have a combined 45 years experience on Pratt & Whitney Canada products,” stated RTC Programme Director Andy Preston. “These engineers have OEM expertise and extensive factory training from Pratt & Whitney Canada that enables them to handle virtually any on-wing service requirement.”

The RTC has also recently doubled its floor space to 6,000 square feet to allow for increased activity. The RTC offers repair and hot section inspection services for PT6A, JT15D and PW500 and is authorized to work on engines covered by ESP®.
