IWG Water Treatment Selected for Gulfstream G650

Two IWG-A6 units will be fitted as standard on each aircraft. The equipment introduces a modular component approach to IWG's product line.

BURNABY, BC, June 2 /CNW/ - International Water-Guard Industries Inc. (IWG), the world leader in aircraft water treatment, is pleased to announce that the all-new IWG-A6 Water Treatment Unit has been selected by Gulfstream Aerospace for use on its newest, largest, fastest and longest range business jet, the Gulfstream G650.

"The G650 represents an industry benchmark in terms of size, speed and amenities," said David Fox, IWG president & CEO. "We are proud to have our newest and most sophisticated product flying on this aircraft."

Two IWG-A6 units will be fitted as standard on each aircraft. The equipment introduces a modular component approach to IWG's product line, allowing for flexible configuration to meet specific customer requirements.

The IWG-A6 is the second of the "Intelligent Water Treatment Unit" product line, following the IWG-A4 introduced last year. It includes an advanced communications capability to integrate into any cabin or maintenance environment, and is also equipped with an enhanced self-monitoring capability. While ensuring adequate ultraviolet light is produced to disinfect the aircraft's water supplies, the electronics also scan for a range of fault conditions, which can be reported to the cabin management system.

International Water-Guard is a Canadian aerospace company focusing on aircraft potable water treatment and full water system solutions. IWG has expertise in all aspects of water treatment, and has the products and know-how to provide high quality water for passengers and crew, and light weight, space-saving solutions for the aircraft operator.
