Cleveland – The Lincoln Electric Company, the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of arc welding products, has opened a new Automation Service Center in Nashville, Tenn.
The new facility is fully equipped and ready to serve with a variety of preventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and redeployment services for Lincoln Electric Power Wave® and STT® welders, wire feeders, controls and associated automation equipment. Services are conveniently offered on-site at the customer location or at the state of the art repair facility. The 4,100-square-foot center offers unique services such as equipment cleaning and repairs, connection and weld testing on a robot, burn-in cycle (run at machines rated output), as well as robot service, upgrading, programming and operation training services.
“Our goal for the Regional Automation Service Center is to become the premier shop for service of Lincoln automation welding equipment. Our primary focus in-shop is to provide preventive maintenance services for automated and robotic equipment,” said Bob Steinke, operations manager for the Automation Service Center. “Our preventative maintenance service includes cleaning, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of all models and vintages of robotic Power Wave welders and wire feeders. Additionally, we perform warranty work and maintain a rental/loaner fleet of Power Wave welders.”
Steinke concluded that the center also provides on-site FANUC arc welding robot preventative maintenance, repair and training services.
