June 9, 2008, Perrysburg, Ohio - DeVilbiss, Binks and Owens Community College have teamed up to present a Spray Finishing Technology Workshop. This three-day intensive training program is scheduled for November 12-14, 2008 in Toledo, Ohio. Classes meet from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily and include both classroom and hands-on sessions. Two Continuing Education Units are awarded. Attendees should be involved with industrial, contractor, or maintenance spray finishing applications, or spray equipment sales and distribution. Topics for the Spray Finishing Technology Workshop include:

• Equipment types and selection

• Equipment setup, operation, and maintenance

• Surface preparation and defect analysis

• Material selection

• Safety and regulatory concerns

DeVilbiss and Binks pioneered the development of spray finishing equipment more than 100 years ago and continue to refine and improve processes for spray finishing. The Workforce and Community Services Division at Owens Community College is dedicated to partnering with industry to provide focused education and training programs for traditional and nontraditional students.
