HONG KONG, 18 June, 2008 – Metrojet announces its recent appointment as an approved Honeywell Dealership to further enhance its customer support capabilities. Honeywell International is a diversified technology and manufacturing leader, serving customers worldwide with a wide range of aerospace products, including avionics, engines and Auxiliary Power Units.

“With the Honeywell Dealership, Metrojet will be able to better provide customers with Honeywell products that can improve efficiency and safety such as Flight Management System upgrades to take advantage of FANS (Future Air Navigation System) and RAAS (Runway Awareness and Advisory System),” states Chris Buchholz, CEO, Metrojet Limited. “We can also introduce customers to Honeywell Avionics Protection Plans to reduce their aircraft’s down time and repair costs when the unexpected happens.”

Metrojet is a Full Authorized Gulfstream Warranty Repair Facility as well as an authorized Bombardier Aircraft Service Facility for Global, Challenger, and Learjet aircraft, and its highly trained, qualified and experienced engineers have Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce, GE, Honeywell and Turbomeca aircraft engines and APU type ratings.
