FlightSafety Names David Davenport Regional Operations Manager

Davenport will continue to serve as Manager of FlightSafety’s Learning Center in Savannah, Georgia

LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, NEW YORK (June 19, 2008) – FlightSafety International announces that David Davenport has been promoted to Regional Operations Manager. He will continue to serve as Manager of FlightSafety’s Learning Center in Savannah, Georgia.

As Regional Operations Manager, Davenport will oversee six FlightSafety Learning Centers in addition to the Savannah facility. They are located in Daleville, Alabama; Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas; Long Beach, California; West Palm Beach, Florida and a new Center in Lafayette, Louisiana, scheduled to open by the end of 2008.

David will provide guidance and support to the Managers of these Centers and assist with the planning and preparation of training program delivery, Customer service and satisfaction initiatives, business development, and the entry into service of flight simulators and other advanced training devices.

Davenport graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1982 and served in the Air Training Command prior to working for a flight training school in Florida. He joined FlightSafety in 1996 as Assistant Manager, West Palm Beach Learning Center. He then served as Director, CAA Training at FlightSafety Academy in Vero Beach, Florida prior to being named Assistant Manager of the company’s Learning Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He was promoted to Manager of the Savannah Learning Center in 2006 and assumed overall responsibility for FlightSafety’s Gulfstream aircraft training programs.
