Civil Aviation Administration of China Certifies Argosy’s Shanghai Coatings Facility

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has certified Argosy International’s Shanghai facility for custom blending Akzo Nobel’s aerospace coatings that meet airline, AOG and maintenance requirements.

NEW YORK, June 24, 2008 – The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has certified Argosy International’s Shanghai facility for custom blending Akzo Nobel’s aerospace coatings that meet airline, AOG and maintenance requirements.

The CCAR53 certification, which includes both the coatings and the manufacturing facility, enables Argosy to blend and ship orders within 24 hours of receipt.

Argosy, which supplies coatings to the leading airlines and maintenance facilities in China, is a distributor for Akzo Nobel Aerospace Coatings (ANAC) which has also approved the facility.
