Jet Works Air Center Appoints New Director of Avionics

Jet Works Air Center recently announced the appointment of Rick Purcella as their new Director of Avionics.

Denton, TX -- July 2008 -- Jet Works Air Center recently announced the appointment of Rick Purcella as their new Director of Avionics.

Purcella comes to the Jet Works Air Center from Rockwell Collins with over 30 years of aviation experience. A licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician, Purcella has previously held key positions as Avionics Sales Manager and Senior Avionics Systems Instructor/Senior Tech Writer for Rockwell Collins. Purcella’s career also includes experience with Serv Air/Raytheon E-Systems, National Air Transport, Northrup Worldwide Aircraft Service, Inc., and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company.

In his new role with Jet Works Air Center, Purcella will be responsible for their state of the art avionics department as well as new product development. Purcella and his team provide quality avionics installations, upgrades, and warranty service for all major original equipment manufacturers.

Jet Works Air Center Avionics Department is an authorized dealer for Rockwell Collins, Honeywell – Bendix King, Universal Avionics, Goodrich, L-3, Garmin, Aircell, Airshow and various other manufacturers. Jet Work’s highly qualified avionics technicians perform extensive avionics installations, modifications, certifications and repair on all the latest avionics equipment from major manufacturers. The qualified avionics team also has extensive experience in RVSM, TAWS, IHAS, TCAS and ELT installations on a variety of aircraft types. In 2004 they performed more than 150 avionic installs. In addition, on-site engineering ensures the FAA requirements are in full compliance.
