Corvin Huber Accepts CEO Post at Remos Aircraft

REMOS AIRCRAFT has been manufacturing Sport Aircraft since 1997 with over 250 aircraft flying worldwide.

July 14, 2008 - Pasewalk, Germany – Corvin Huber has taken on the position as Chief Executive Officer at REMOS Aircraft.

Huber has had a long, distinguished career in aviation. Trained in Aerospace Engineering at the Munich Technical University and the European Center for Aerospace Training in Toulouse, France, Huber quickly found himself involved in aeronautical design projects before transitioning into management activities. Fluent in German, English, Russian and French, Huber has, among other appointments, held the post of CEO in restructuring the Extra Aircraft Company. Prior to Extra, Mr. Huber was involved in a turn-around program for Dornier-Fairchild and was COO of heavy lift technology development company, Econoflug.

He earned his pilot’s license before his driver’s license, and went on to become an aerobatic pilot, participating in air shows around Europe and competing in aerobatic contests.

In accepting the position as CEO for REMOS, Huber said: “It is truly an exciting prospect to take the helm of such a well-established and highly respected company like REMOS. The performance and safety record for the 250 REMOS aircraft already out there on the flight lines has been outstanding. The company has a fine team of engineers and craftsmen and we expect to uphold the reputation for precision that has already been established.”
