Seattle, Wash. (July 22, 2008) Raisbeck Engineering recently added two key personnel to its Seattle staff: Davud Kasparov and Aaron Jo-Nes. As a design engineer, Kasparov is responsible for the design, analysis and development of new products to enhance corporate aircraft. Technical Support Manager Jo-Nes will take care of customer requests for information and product inquiries.

Davud Kasparov graduated with honors from the University of Washington where he received both his B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering. While attending UW, Kasparov was a teaching assistant for flight mechanics, gas dynamics, rocket propulsion and CAD classes, and also conducted independent research through his design and construction of a custom heated-vortex-ring generator (which was funded by a NASA Space Grant). Kasparov also worked as a summer engineering intern at Aerojet, where he created parametric solid models for propulsion systems and conducted performance analysis. He will play an integral role in the design of aircraft performance enhancing products, and will report to the Director of Engineering, Gary Lidstone.

“Raisbeck Engineering is very fortunate to have Davud on our engineering team,” said Lidstone. “We are looking forward to Davud making significant contributions in our new product development efforts and augment his stellar academic career.”

Aaron Jo-Nes previously was an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic at Galvin Flying Service in Seattle. Jo-Nes performed maintenance and repairs on Part 91 and 135 corporate aircraft, including Beechcraft, Hawker, Cessna and Learjet aircraft. This critical position gave him the knowledge and expertise to make him a valuable member of Raisbeck’s technical and customer support team. He holds an Associate in Applied Science/Airframe Repair Technology degree and will report to the Director of Customer Support, Bill Lally.

“Aaron has only been with us for three months, yet he has fit into the Technical Manager’s position like a customized fitted racing car seat!” said Lally. “He brings the next level of professionalism in assisting our customer’s with their technical needs. He’s perfect for this position.”

Both Kasparov and Jo-Nes currently reside in Seattle.

Raisbeck is also pleased to report that Anne Lockemy, formerly the Marketing Assistant for Raisbeck, has been promoted to the position of Advertising and Public Relations Manager. She will be responsible for all advertising and communication efforts and will report to the Chief Operating Officer, Sam L. Jantzen Jr.

“We are extremely pleased to have someone with Anne’s talent, creativity and ear for the market,” said Jantzen. “She has proven to be a valued member of our team.”

Lockemy joined Raisbeck in 2007 after receiving her B.A. in Communication degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA.
