OSHKOSH, Wis. (July 28, 2008) – To supplement its growing orders for Beechcraft products, Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) has realigned and expanded its current sales team to handle the two divisions of its Beechcraft aircraft: executive and corporate.

Placing new leadership over these two divisions, Drew McEwen is now vice president, Domestic Executive Beechcraft Sales, representing the Beechcraft King Air C90GTi, Baron G58 and Bonanza G36. Prior to this position, McEwen led the world-wide Hawker Beechcraft Authorized Services Centers and technical support operations within customer support.

Former Vice President of Domestic Beechcraft Sales Brad Stancil is now vice president, Domestic Corporate Beechcraft Sales, providing sales leadership for the Beechcraft Premier II, Premier IA, King Air 350 and King Air B200GT.

The announcement comes at a time when the company continues to experience robust orders for its Beechcraft Baron G58 and Beechcraft Bonanza G36, contrary to the current trends within the piston aircraft segment. As two of the industry’s most prestigious high-performance piston aircraft, these products continue to provide time-tested performance, exceptional capabilities and superior reliability.

“We are restructuring our sales team on the Beechcraft side to respond to the growing demands for our aircraft,” said Brad Hatt, president, Commercial Aircraft. “We’re extremely pleased with the continued sales performance of our Beechcraft products, particularly our pistons. Contrary to what is happening in the piston aircraft segment and the overall U.S. economy, our Baron and Bonanza aircraft are experiencing strong order momentum.”

The Baron G58 and Bonanza G36 are pilot favorites and continue to outperform other aircraft in their class. The Baron G58 is the most popular six-passenger twin-engine piston aircraft in production, featuring fully integrated Garmin G1000® avionics with the GFC 700 flight control system and GWX 68 color weather radar. Meanwhile, the Bonanza single-engine piston has the longest continual production run in the industry, having celebrated 60 years in 2007. Like the Baron, the Bonanza also features the Garmin G1000® avionics with WAAS and LPV approach capability.

Additionally, HBC is preparing changes to the sales process of its Executive Beechcraft line. To enhance customers’ experience, the company’s Executive Beechcraft products will only be sold to customers factory-direct throughout the United States and Canada beginning January 1, 2009.

“Going factory-direct is a natural transition for us as customers’ expectations have changed,” said Brad Hatt, president, Commercial Aircraft. “We look forward to building stronger and more personal relationships with our customers.”
