Plastek LLC to Supply US Army With Cockpit Acrylic Repair Kits

Plastek LLC announced today that the US Army, on behalf of the Apache Program Executive Office, has contracted Plastek LLC to supply cockpit acrylic repair kits for aircraft used across the US military installations including Iraq.

Plastek LLC announced today that the US Army, on behalf of the Apache Program Executive Office, has contracted Plastek LLC to supply cockpit acrylic repair kits for aircraft used across the US military installations including Iraq.

Plastek LLC has produced military-strength repair kits since 2003. Its products specialize in the repair, restoration and detailing of acrylic cockpit windows and aircraft canopies. According to Gus Ordonez, President and CEO of Plastek LLC, “this multi-aircraft buy plan represents the belief of the US Army maintenance and support personnel that our product can do the job as advertised”.

Plastek LLC is applying the know-how technology used on military repair products for the General Aviation products that will be launched at EAA-Oshkosh on 30 July, 2008 during the press release and demonstration workshop.
