CSC Wins U.S. Air Force Contract to Provide Maintenance Support Worldwide

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it is one of seven firms that have been awarded a Contract Field Teams (CFT) contract administered by the U.S. Air Force. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a two-year base period, two two-year and one one-year options, bringing the total combined maximum ceiling value of the seven-year contract for all firms to $10.1 billion.

Under the new agreement, CSC will provide a comprehensive range of maintenance support for all branches of the military worldwide. Services include the repair and upkeep of various aircraft, missiles, ground support equipment and combat/tactical vehicles at government locations around the world. Additionally, CSC will provide equipment modification, maintenance, inspection and repair services for any federal agency or authorized foreign military sales customer located either in the continental United States or at government locations outside of the country.

CSC's Applied Technology Division (ATD) will provide mobile logistics services and support teams for the CFT engagement. ATD provides a full range of facilities operations, maintenance support and managed services for government clients requiring aviation and logistics, infrastructure services, base operations, or mission and range support worldwide.

Teaming with CSC are Bowhead Manufacturing Company LLC, an Alaska limited liability corporation with offices in Leesburg, Va.; DUCOM Inc., of Silver Spring, Md.; Texas Aviation Services, of Ft. Worth, Texas; and Millennium Systems Services Inc., of Huntsville, Ala.
