Houston, TX – August 20, 2008 – APPH Houston, Inc. is pleased to announce that construction has begun on their new 62,000 square foot facility. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on August 11, 2008 with key APPH executives in attendance.

Scheduled to be completed March of 2009, the new, custom-built facility will bring APPH Houston operations under one roof. For the past five years, the company has been housed in two facilities as they had outgrown their original building.

The all-new facility will house the ever-growing sheet metal shop, which will include a dedicated welding shop and clean room for composite lay up. It will also house the landing gear, accessory and pneumatic shops, the parts sales division and its extensive inventory, as well as the administration and shipping departments.

Manufacturing operations will have its own facilities separate from the overhaul shops in the new building with an additional shop area reserved for future growth and development.

Additionally, with the company’s emphasis on continuing education with industry-related skills and processes, the new building will also feature a dedicated training area that can hold up to 12 students and a full-time training manager.
