Scott Shiells is New Airframe Program Director at StandardAero

Shiells will have full responsibility for establishing and executing plans to maximize growth of the airframe MRO business.

TEMPE, Ariz. – August 29, 2008 – StandardAero, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) company has selected Scott Shiells as their new Airframe Program Director for the business aviation sector.

Shiells will have full responsibility for establishing and executing plans to maximize growth of the airframe MRO business. His position will focus on driving operational excellence in airframe business and creating new programs for growth.

Shiells comes to StandardAero from Duncan Aviation where he was Project Manager on maintenance and modification projects. He was previously director of Maintenance for Steen Aviation, worked in field service for Lockheed Support Systems, and served in the U.S. Navy as an engine technician and flight engineer.

Sheills holds a bachelors degree from Doane College and is a licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician. He also holds a Private Pilot certificate.
