Metrojet Hosts FlightSafety's First Training in Asia

Metrojet is hosting the first ever FlightSafety International G450 Maintenance Initial and Fifth Week Avionics courses at its facility located at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Center at HK International Airport.

HONG KONG, 12 September 2008 – Metrojet is pleased to announce its hosting of the first ever FlightSafety International G450 Maintenance Initial and Fifth Week Avionics courses at its highly acclaimed facility located at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Center at HK International Airport. With an engineering staff of over 80 maintenance professionals, Metrojet’s maintenance department is a certified repair station with approvals from the Hong Kong CAD, the United States FAA, Bermuda BDCA, Cayman Islands CAA, and is also authorized to carry out maintenance on aircraft registered in various other countries, including Mainland China, Macau and Canada.

The training is the first aviation training of its kind conducted by FlightSafety in the Asia Pacific region which included a 20-day maintenance initial and a 5th week avionics course. “Putting safety above all else is our first Business Principle.
