Karen J. Berg Appointed Vice President Sales North America at Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance

Paris, Amstelveen, 22nd September, 2008 – Karen Berg has been appointed Vice President Sales in North America for Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M), responsible for the sales development of technical services. She will be based in the AFI KLM E&M Miami sales office.

Ms. Berg began her aviation career in 1986 at Northwest Airlines in successively challenging management positions in Reservations, Sales & Marketing, Ground Services, Information Services and Airline Alliance development.

She joined KLM through its pan-european sales and customer service subsidiary, Cygnific, as the Director of Operations. More recently, Ms. Berg was the director of maintenance and modifications for the KLM fleet.

Ms. Berg holds a bachelor's degree in International Business, and has numerous MBA courses to supplement her extensive aviation experience.
