Paris, Amstelveen, 22nd September, 2008 – Karen Berg has been appointed Vice President Sales in North America for Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M), responsible for the sales development of technical services. She will be based in the AFI KLM E&M Miami sales office.
Ms. Berg began her aviation career in 1986 at Northwest Airlines in successively challenging management positions in Reservations, Sales & Marketing, Ground Services, Information Services and Airline Alliance development.
She joined KLM through its pan-european sales and customer service subsidiary, Cygnific, as the Director of Operations. More recently, Ms. Berg was the director of maintenance and modifications for the KLM fleet.
Ms. Berg holds a bachelor's degree in International Business, and has numerous MBA courses to supplement her extensive aviation experience.

Pierre Teboul is in charge of developing technical sales and services in both regions and will supervise the sales team, both in Paris and Amsterdam.
AFI KLM E&M recently signed a component support contract covering UK carrier Monarch Airlines' fleet of A330s.
