Summit Training Source Partners With Safety Marketing Services/University of Safety Distribution

Summit Training Source has partnered with the University Of Safety Distribution (UOSD) to provide members of the Safety Equipment Distributor Association (SEDA) and Safety Marketing Group (SMG) access to online safety and regulatory training programs. The comprehensive online training programs exclusively from Summit will give sales personnel and other employees a more complete understanding of how safety equipment is used and applied in the work environment and the associated laws and standards, without manufacturer specific information.

Summit’s training programs will enable sales personnel to have a superior understanding of the safety related products they are selling, as well as help them to assess a customer’s individual needs and recommend the most appropriate products. According to the UOSD, “Our University recognizes the need for continuing and ongoing safety and human resource education and training for all employees in the Safety Equipment Distribution industry to achieve higher levels of professionalism, improved customer consultation and overall understanding of Federal laws and regulations.”

Summit will offer over one hundred online courses to the UOSD covering topics that include Forklifts, Bloodborne Pathogens, Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protection, Machine Guarding, Hand & Power Tools, and more.
