Hong Kong / People’s Republic of China, October 2, 2008 – Jet Aviation Hong Kong recently received its maintenance repair station approval from the Hong Civil Aviation Department (CAD). Established in 2001 as aircraft management and charter division for the Asia region, the facility expanded its operation to perform line maintenance for Hong Kong registered Bombardier, Cessna and Gulfstream aircraft and to provide AOG support services.

The CAD maintenance repair station approval (HK#AI/143/908) now allows Jet Aviation Hong Kong to provide locally registered aircraft scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance, airframe and engine repairs, avionics modifications, inspections and defect rectifications as well as AOG support. Jet Aviation Hong Kong employs a team of maintenance specialists from around the world under the leadership of Nigel Parker, director maintenance, who reports to Jet Aviation Singapore. The operation performs line maintenance services in the hangars of the Hong Kong Business Aviation Center.

“I am very happy that with the CAD approval we can now provide our Hong Kong-based customers with a higher level of services,” says Sebastian Groeger, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Singapore. “To better meet the future needs of our growing number of customers and the business aviation community in the Asia Pacific Rim, it was important to add Hong Kong to our network of maintenance operations in Asia, which currently also includes Beijing, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore,” Groeger adds.
