Lufthansa Technik Budapest (LTB) and Austrian Airlines AG (AUA) have signed a three-year contract regarding heavy maintenance checks for 20 Airbus A320. This contract follows a first maintenance agreement between the two companies which had been signed in 2003.
"Austrian Airlines was our first external customer after the foundation of Lufthansa Technik Budapest in 2001. Therefore we have built up a very special relationship with Austrian Airlines", said Elmar Lutter, CEO of LTB since 1 September 2008. "We are very proud that we have been selected again by the airline to do heavy checks on their fleet. This is also a clear signal to our employees that they have done a great job over the past years."
