Shannon Aerospace Appoints New Quality Assurance Manager
One of Shannon's first recruits garners promotion.
SHANNON, IRELAND -- Muriel Fenton has been appointed to the position of Quality Assurance Manager at Shannon Aerospace Ltd.
One of the first recruits to Shannon Aerospace, Fenton began her career with the MRO provider as a Systems & Engines Aircraft Maintenance Technician, qualifying in 1992 on the day that the Shannon Hangar first opened its doors for business. In 1995, Fenton moved to the Work Documents section of the Engineering & Planning Department, where she was later appointed Senior Jobcard Engineer in 1998. In 2002, Fenton joined the Shannon Aerospace Quality Department as Quality Assurance Engineer, and during her time in that position attained a diploma in Quality Management from Business Excellence as well as becoming a ‘Certified Quality Engineer’ in 2006, as awarded by the American Society of Quality.
In her new position as Quality Assurance Manager, Fenton will report to Head of Quality & Training Tom Caffrey.
