EMTEQ Granted an FAA STC and Receives Approval for Amendment to Another STC

Approvals install Honeywell’s HD-710 and runway awareness and advisory system and kits.

NEW BERLIN, WI — Wisconsin headquartered EMTEQ recently added Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) ST03619AT for B777 aircraft which installs Honeywell’s HD-710 Data Terminal/Amplifier to its list of FAA approved engineering and installation kits for Boeing aircraft. EMTEQ’s existing STC for RAAS on B737-300 through -900 series aircraft, ST03646AT, now includes a third configuration which adds in-flight advisories during approach to the airfield.

EMTEQ holds more than 100 STCs for major airframe OEM models including: Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer, Beechcraft, BAE, McDonnell-Douglas, Pilatus and others. EMTEQ and its partners have extensive certification capabilities and experience. Recently acquired Aero Consulting Services of Winnipeg holds Transport Canada Design Approval Organization (DAO) and is authorized to issue Transport Canada LSTCs on behalf of the Minister. EMTEQ’s Florida engineering office has coordinated international certification approvals of FAA STCs in the European Union, Brazil, China, and Canada as well.
