IRVING, TX -- Ranger Aerospace & Aeronautics Inc., a private equity consolidator currently specializing in investments in the rotorcraft services industry, has changed its corporate name for better branding purposes to Ranger Rotorcraft Group Inc. The company announced this routine change as part of larger plans by Ranger Aerospace LLC to invest in other industry sectors in the coming years under the "Ranger Aerospace" brand.
"Our Texas operations are pure-play in the rotorcraft technical services sector," says Steve Townes, CEO and founder of Ranger Aerospace LLC. "The revised corporate name for that holding company says more accurately what they do. Ranger Aerospace contemplates investments in other non-rotorcraft sectors. The Ranger Aerospace brand is better used to cover a wider range of subsidiaries in the future." Townes remains the Chairman of Ranger Rotorcraft Group Inc.
