Hawker Beechcraft Opens Arizona Air Center
HBS is leasing 5.1 acres at the airport with an option to expand to 10.7 acres in the future.
MESA, AZ -- Hawker Beechcraft Corp. said today that it has completed the first phase of its new $14 million aircraft maintenance center at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in east Mesa.
The center is one of 12 factory-owned facilities in the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom that maintain Hawker Beechcraft airplanes.
The Mesa facility will serve as the Southwest regional service center of Hawker Beechcraft Services, replacing the company's Van Nuys, CA, location, which will close on March 31.
