DALLAS -- Andrew Woodworth has joined BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) as Regional Sales Manager for Australasia. Woodworth will provide sales and technical assistance on all 21 engine programs for which ERO is OEM authorized.

"Andy has a unique background in program management, strategic planning, and sales which makes him a valuable asset and a wonderful addition to our team," says Willy Harmon, BBA Aviation ERO Vice President of International Sales. "Andy worked with us at our H+S Aviation facility in England for many years before migrating to Australia. We welcome him back."

Woodworth brings two decades of aviation sales and technical background to his new position. While attending college, he apprenticed with British Aerospace and afterwards was offered a position on the BAe 146 regional airliner program and progressively moved through positions of ever increasing responsibility. In the late 1990s, he joined BBA Aviation’s H+S Aviation in Portsmouth, England, as a Sales Engineer on the Rolls-Royce Dart program. He eventually became Business Manager for the entire program and oversaw engineering, production, purchasing, logistics, operations sales, and customer support.

Most recently Woodworth worked for GE Aviation Systems in Australia as Turboprop and Rotorcraft Account Manager, managing existing and developed new business.

Woodworth is a British national. He graduated from Macclesfield College with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and attended Manchester University of Science and Technology under a British Aerospace-UMIST Fellowship. Woodworth resides in Australia and will cover that country as well as New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and the Pacific Islands.
