Local workers already provide repair services on the engines that power the military’s C-2 Greyhound, the C-5 Galaxy, C-130 Hercules, the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the KC-10 aerial tanker.

EASA certification will allow Kelly Aviation Center employees to pursue engine work on commercial European engines, including the engines that power the DC-10, A300 and 747 aircraft. In order to receive EASA certification, a company must comply with audits and follow high standards of quality, safety and environmental protection.
