BURNSVILLE, MN -- Free seminars are available at the Aviation Industry Expo March 10-12 in Las Vegas.

A GSE Panel Discussion on Alternative Fuels will take place on Tuesday, March 10, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Learn about alternative fuel types and requirements for refueling stations. Discover what types of vehicles accommodate the fuels. Greg Zilberfarb, Education and Outreach Consultant, Propane Education and Research Council, will moderate the session. Panelists will include Bill Jacob, VP of Ground Support, UPS; Kevin Morrow, VP, Electric Transportation Engineering Co., and Zilberfarb.

A GSE Panel Discussion on Electric Powered GSE Vehicles will take place on Thursday, March 12, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Learn the latest in electric power technology, airport infrastructure updates to accommodate electric vehicles, and realize how battery charging techniques can reduce energy. Dick Baxter, General Manager, Atlanta Powertrain and Hydraulic, will moderate the session. Panelists will include Martin Lock, Customer Service Manager, Charlatte of America; Christian Bernadotte, Chairman, Cavotec; Todd Allen, President, Allen Energy; Ryan Gibson, Product Manager, AeroVironment; and Kevin Morrow, VP, Electric Transportation Engineering Co.

Andrew Edlefsen of the U.S. Department of Commerce will present a session on Doing Business Globally on Wednesday, March 11, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The fast-paced growth of international aviation industries, modernization/upgrading of global transportation infrastructures, and the growing international demand for quality U.S.-supplied GSE/FBO/MRO equipment and services, all are creating a wealth of business opportunities for American companies. The resources available to U.S. companies, allowing them to tap into these tremendous business opportunities, explore international markets, and participate in industry trade events, are plentiful and accessible. Learn what the U.S. government is doing to help its aerospace companies achieve their international business goals.
