Omniflight Helicopters Inc. Appoints Cheryl A. Nolan Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Nolan brings 15 years of IT experience to new role.
ADDISON, TEXAS -- Omniflight Helicopters, Inc., a national provider of air medical services, announces that it named Cheryl Nolan to the post of vice president and chief information officer.
In her new role, Nolan, who reports directly to James Kupferschmid, chief financial officer, will head the company’s information technology (IT) efforts including developing and implementing strategies to upgrade its current information systems infrastructure.
Nolan's IT career spans 15 years. Most recently she served as senior principal for India-based Infosys Consulting Inc., a management consulting division of a company engaged in delivering technology-enabled business solutions to organizations interested in leveraging and maximizing their IT resources. In this capacity she was responsible for developing client relationships, cultivating opportunities and managing delivery of large, strategic, complex business transformation programs for a variety of industries including high tech, transportation, manufacturing, retail, and insurance.
Previously, Nolan held several IT-related positions. She served as program manager for Sun Microsystems through a consulting role and as a senior project manager for Optimal Solutions Integration of Dallas where she managed multiple global systems integration initiatives. She served in other consulting positions including her role with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She also worked as project manager at Dallas-based Sea-Land Service managing delivery of custom developed in-house solutions. Nolan began her career as a senior systems programmer/analyst with Texas Instruments in Dallas.

Nolan resides in Carrollton, Texas. Originally from Las Cruces, NM, Nolan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Computer Systems from New Mexico State University.
