NTSB Dispatches Go Team to Investigate Crash in Butte, MT
Seven investigators head to Montana.
At approximately 3:00 pm MDT a Pilatus PC-12/45 (N128CM) crashed into Holy Cross Cemetery on approach to Bert Mooney Airport in Butte, MT. Multiple fatalities have been reported.
NTSB Senior Air Safety Investigator Dennis Hogenson is the Investigator-in-Charge for the team of approximately seven investigators. NTSB Acting Chairman Mark V. Rosenker is accompanying the team and will serve as principal spokesman for the on-scene investigation. Keith Holloway is the team's press officer.
The Go Team is expected to arrive in Butte late tonight. At that time, Holloway can be reached on his cell phone at (202) 557-1350.
