Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland Workers Look to Labour Court
Mechanics dispute management's proposals for cuts in overtime rates.
DUBLIN -- Unions representing workers at aircraft engine maintenance Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland (LTAI) are seeking Labour Court intervention in their dispute with management over proposals for work practice changes.
Workers at the plant at Rathcoole Co. Dublin had voted by a substantial majority against the proposals, which would have involved cuts in overtime rates and other changes.
