CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 15, 2009/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Goodrich Corporation's (NYSE: GR) Alabama Service Center (ASC) in Foley, AL, and Customer Services campus in Monroe, N.C., received Corporate Diamond Certificate of Excellence awards from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) program. The Corporate Diamond award is the highest award presented in the AMT program. The prestigious awards have now been presented eight and four consecutive times to the ASC and Monroe teams respectively.

The facilities received the Diamond Certificate of Excellence awards for having 100 percent eligible participation in the FAA's AMT program. In addition to the facility awards, 35 employees earned individual Diamond-level AMT awards; these awards require 58 hours of maintenance training, two hours of regulatory training, and at least three credit hours or 40 classroom hours of college-level courses within the year. Overall, 389 employees at the two facilities earned individual FAA AMT awards in 2008.

Cindy Egnotovich, segment president, Nacelles and Interior Systems for Goodrich, said, "Achieving the Corporate Diamond award status for so many consecutive years confirms our dedication to rigorous training and customer-focused improvement within our facilities.
