Enerjet Chooses AFI KLM E&M for 737NG Component Support
Enerjet's aircraft are joining a global 737NG pool of about 200 aircraft.
PARIS, AMSTELVEEN – Canadian charter airline Enerjet signed an exclusive five-year component support contract with Air France Industries (AFI) and KLM Engineering & Maintenance (KLM E&M) covering maintenance and pool access for their growing fleet of 737NGs.
The joint Component Services Program (CSP) of Boeing and KLM E&M will offer the support. The 737NG CSP Program provides fast access to critical parts. It offers Enerjet cost saving (up to 30 percent) on its component repair and inventory costs by providing access to a global pool of components. All components will be available for shipment within 24 hours of request. Enerjet can also replace a faulty unit quickly and easily with its own on-site inventory. Enerjet's aircraft are joining a global 737NG pool of about 200 aircraft and is thereby able to benefit from all the advantages of this dedicated OEM, MRO, and Operator Program.
"We are very proud of the confidence Enerjet has shown in our MRO services by selecting us as their key strategic supply chain partner," says Rob Pruim, AFI KLM E&M Vice President Sales International. "Enerjet will benefit from AFI KLM E&M's experience, its focus on on-time-performance, and its strong operational support. We will provide Enerjet the basis for a safe and reliable operation."
"The support that we received from AFI-KLM during our start-up phase convinced us that this was a true partnership and not just a contract service," says Gareth Davies, Enerjet Vice President Tech Ops. "With AFI KLM E&M's depth of knowledge, support, and overhaul capabilities, we are in the position of being able to provide our customers with superior safety and reliability. We look forward to a long term relationship with AFI KLM E&M."
