VFS Vacuum Furnace Ships to Midwest Medical Device Manufacturer

SOUDERTON, PA – A VFS vacuum furnace has shipped to a Midwest medical device manufacturer. The new HEQ3836-2VDS Horizontal External Quench (HEQ) furnace is capable of both vacuum debinding and vacuum sintering in a single vacuum furnace. This furnace includes a two-bar argon quench system, with an energy efficient graphite hot zone capable of processing temperatures up to 2,400 degrees, all molybdenum heating elements, CompuVac supervisory control system and a TruLock autoclave door. The unit features a 24- x 24- x 36-inch (W x H x D) hot zone and is capable of handling loads up to 1,000 pounds.

This shipment represents the 19th VFS vacuum furnace purchased by this customer in the past 25 years.
