CINCINNATI, OH — The General Electric Company has signed an agreement with Cincinnati-based Rhinestahl Corporation, selecting it as the OEM authorized provider of GE's aircraft and gas turbine engine customer tooling solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Rhinestahl will become the preferred OEM customer tooling provider and GE Aviation's Customer Tooling Solutions (CTS) business will transfer to Rhinestahl. The agreement is expected to finalize around the end of May.

Recognized throughout the aviation industry as a leading manufacturer of gas turbine engine and airframe tools, Rhinestahl will help the CTS business achieve its full potential. Rhinestahl's experience together with GE's technical support will ensure that GE customers will have access to the same high quality level of sales and support they expect from GE.

"We have built our reputation on providing the best possible customer support and level of satisfaction. This agreement with GE will allow us to utilize our expertise to take that customer experience to a new level of excellence," says Dieter Moeller, Rhinestahl Corporation's CEO. "Our 42 years of experience and expertise in the business have prepared Rhinestahl to be extremely well positioned to handle this opportunity. We are proud to be appointed as GE's OEM authorized tooling provider."

GE and Rhinestahl’s intention is to provide a seamless transition for GE's aircraft and industrial engine tooling customers.

"GE's customers will continue working with the same customer account managers (CAMs) and support staff that they have been accustomed to working with at GE CTS, only now they will be employees of Rhinestahl. In addition we will add experienced resources from our team to provide a high level of customer interaction and support," says Moeller. "We will be transitioning 14 GE employees and the Vineland, NJ, warehouse operations to a new location in Cincinnati. GE customers and vendors should see little or no interruption as we move forward throughout the year."

Rhinestahl currently holds tooling licenses by Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, and the Boeing Company. Its customer base is diverse and worldwide supplying tooling to the US government, commercial airlines, airframe manufacturers, jet engine over-haulers, and field service organizations, as well as to the OEMs directly.
