FlightSafety's London/Farnborough Training Center Earns JAA Level D Qualification

Three new simulators garner CAA approval.

LAGUARDIA AIRPORT, NY – FlightSafety International announces that it has received JAA Level D qualification from the Civil Aviation Authority in the United Kingdom for three new simulators.

The Hawker 750, Citation Sovereign and Gulfstream G550 aircraft simulators are located at the company's London/Farnborough Training Center. The simulators were all qualified within an eight-week period.

The simulators are equipped with the company's latest advances in technology. The company's VITAL visual systems provide highly-detailed, texture-enhanced scenes and excels in its realistic presentation of both routine and critical weather conditions. The new simulators also feature SimIO data control and SimPWR power distribution systems designed to enhance simulator performance, increase flexibility, and improve efficiency.

The London Farnborough Center offers training programs for pilots, maintenance technicians, and other aviation professionals using simulators built for business aircraft manufactured by Cessna, Hawker Beechcraft, Gulfstream, and Sikorsky. They include the Cessna Citation Bravo, CJ2, Excel, Mustang and Sovereign, the Hawker 400XP, 750, 800XP, 850XP and King Air 200, the Gulfstream G500, and the Sikorsky S-92.
