Among them, Ray Wisner, Russ Law and Jim Hyder have more than 150 years of aircraft maintenance experience, most of them with American Airlines. "There isn't much you haven't seen in 40 years," Wisner said.
His career included 34 years with American, five years in U.S. Navy aviation and 1 1/2 years teaching at what is now Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology.
"When I started out (in 1958), the first plane I dealt with was a F6F, a World War II fighter," Wisner said. "The last one was a (Boeing) 777.
