Three Eaton divisions won awards for third consecutive year.

IRVINE, CA -- Four Aerospace divisions of diversified power management company Eaton Corporation were recently recognized for superior supplier performance by Northrop Grumman Corporation. Three of the Eaton divisions won top-supplier awards for the third consecutive year.

"Northrop Grumman sets the bar exceptionally high for service and quality, and being honored by them is a testament to the hard work and customer focus of Eaton's Aerospace employees," says Brad Morton, president of Eaton’s Aerospace Group. "They strive for excellence in everything they do, and they're constantly looking for ways to improve and to add value for our customers."

Receiving the Platinum Source Preferred Award for the third year in a row were Eaton's Electrical Sensing and Controls divisions in Glenolden, PA, and Grand Rapids, MI, and Eaton's Aerospace Group's Conveyance Systems Division in Eastanollee, GA.

This year, Eaton's Aerospace Group Fuel Systems Division in Costa Mesa, CA, was a first-time recipient of the Platinum Source Preferred Award.

Eaton Corporation representatives accepted the awards during Northrop Grumman's annual supplier awards banquet, held May 6 in El Segundo, CA.

Eaton's Aerospace divisions scored in the top percentiles of Northrop Grumman's supplier-rating system for product quality, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and robust process-improvement programs. They also met or exceeded Northrop Grumman's stringent performance objectives for 12 consecutive months.

Chuck Wands, sector vice president, business management and chief financial officer for Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, credits the company's success, in part, to the performance of Eaton's Aerospace employees and other award-winning suppliers.

"We must have absolutely flawless performance on our existing programs -- and our suppliers have always played a critical role in helping us to accomplish that," says Wands. "They are our partners in the truest sense of the word and share Northrop Grumman's commitment to value and customer satisfaction."
