OSHKOSH, WI -- The legendary pilots and aircraft of the past 75 years will take center stage once again during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on July 27 to Aug. 2 at Wittman Regional Airport, as the EAA Warbirds of America host their popular "Warbirds in Review" program.

These daily informal sessions in the Warbirds area have proven extremely popular with AirVenture attendees, as it is a rare chance to see such aviation legends as Bud Anderson, Paul Poberezny, Gunther Rall, and Bob Hoover up close with aircraft types that they flew in combat, testing, or training. Little-known stories and questions-and-answer time with these personalities are among the highlights available at Oshkosh that are nearly impossible to witness anywhere else.

Warbirds in Review sessions take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on July 27 to Aug. 1, and at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2. Admission to these programs are included with all AirVenture admissions and are part of one of the world's greatest annual gatherings of former military aircraft in one place.

"The Warbirds in Review programs alone are worth the price of AirVenture admission," says Bill Fischer, Warbirds of America executive director. "Combine that with all the warbird aircraft, flying activities and everything else at Oshkosh, there is no place in the world that compares for the true aviation enthusiast."
