Compass Airlines Opens New Aircraft Maintenance Hangar

New hangar in Louisville will open the doors for 70 new full-time jobs.

LOUISVILLE, KY -- More new jobs are coming to Louisville. On Tuesday the Regional Airport Authority and Compass Airlines announced that the airline's new $9.5 million aircraft maintenance hangar has been complete and is ready to open. The new hangar will open the doors for 70 new full-time jobs with an annual payroll of more than $3 million.

"I appreciate the commitment that Compass and Delta have made to the Louisville Regional Airport, to this region and to the state. And I'm glad we were able to work with them to bring this aircraft maintenance facility to fruition," said Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear.
