Malaysian company looks to grow its business through improvements in productivity, maintenance performance, and operational efficiencies.

OTTAWA, CANADA – Mxi Technologies, along with distribution partner Milcon Gulf Group, announces that AIROD (an MRO facility in Malaysia, Southeast Asia) selected Maintenix software to provide maintenance management technology to their organization, including AIROD Turbopower, a subsidiary of AIROD dedicated to engine overhaul and repair. The software will provide the ability to grow the business through improvements in productivity, maintenance performance, and operational efficiencies.

Replacing a variety of legacy systems, Maintenix will provide a single source of information for all users. Automation of previously manual processes will allow AIROD to reduce time consuming and labor intensive activities.

"Faced with increasingly complex maintenance requirements, we turned to the market leader in integrated maintenance management solutions to help shape our business," says an AIROD representative. "Mxi spent a significant amount of time with our team, assessing our needs and current business processes. Working with Mxi, we were able to define a path for achieving our organizational objective of becoming a major MRO provider capable of maintaining airframe, engines and components for fleets of commercial transport and military aircraft from around the world."

"Implemented and proven by some of the world’s leading aviation organizations, Maintenix has been developed based on industry best practices that allow organizations, such as AIROD, to improve their maintenance processes while growing their business," says Les Hine, President of Mxi Technologies. "Mxi is committed to this market and we are looking forward to helping AIROD with their future successes."
